We provide a complete audiological evaluation in a soundproof booth.  Testing is painless and we have one of the largest sound booths in the area.  We work in conjunction with area Ear, Nose & Throat physicians so referrals can be made if a medical condition is found to be causing your hearing loss.

If your hearing evaluation reveals a hearing loss that is best treated with hearing aids, the audiologist will review your options including the style of hearing aids and the technology levels available to you.  All hearing aids are digital and are programmed via the computer to match your hearing test results.  A demonstration of some hearing aids is available in the office.

Once a patient is fit with a hearing aid, detailed instruction is given on how to take care of the device and on how to listen again. We hear with our brain!  The brain must relearn to focus on important sounds and to ignore irrelevant noises.  Extensive counseling is offered to the patient so they may understand the adjustment their brain is making to hear again.  Most patients require 3-4 visits after the initial fit for adjustments as they are getting used to having their “ears” back.  These subsequent hearing aid adjustments and/or trouble shooting are always available at no charge throughout the 2 year warranty period.

We also offer custom ear molds for a variety of situations including hearing protection, musician’s filtered ear plugs, custom earpieces for your cellphone and/or iPod, swim plugs, etc.
